Drawing by making models

The drawing class today was quite interesting. It gave me a feeling like we were drawing by making models.

We were asked to bring a hat, a piece of one of our own garment and a shoe from someone else as materials. For the first part of class, we need to make 3D model of one object with newspaper. I chose the heel and made a model.
It's also interesting and inspiring to look at my peer's work.
The next exercise was back to drawing with pens as well our imaginations. We needed to draw a person or animal wearing one object, there must be some background on the drawing.

The last part was the most interesting in my opinion. The requirement was that we had to connect one object to architecture or landscape using newspaper models. I imagined the heel was a slide, and made a model to slide down it.

I saw lots of interesting work like English breakfast, ice cream and a bowl with chocolate. I believe all my classmates had fun in this class.
